Read about art of the STITCH & SCHOLAR
Members of the Guild braved rather low temperatures and a chilly wind to celebrate our centenary in this major stitching event at Hampton Court Palace over the first May bank holiday weekend in 2006. Spirits were kept high and a good time was had by all who took part, particularly those who made new friends and got the chance to catch up with old ones.
Visitors were intrigued by what was going on, and those stitching were delighted to explain what they were doing and in some cases give visitors the chance to have a go themselves.
