Our tour begins in Oxford, "The City of Dreaming Spires", known the world over for its University, colleges and museums. For centuries it has been associated with scholars and learning. It has been linked to writers including Kenneth Grahame "The Wind in the Willows" and Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland".
Drive from here into the countryside and explore the Cotswolds with delightful villages, honey coloured limestone buildings and historic churches. The Cotswolds was an important centre for the Arts & Crafts Movement in the latter part of the 19th century, attracting artists, poets and designers who were drawn here by its rich craft tradition, the beautiful landscape and architecture. It inspired William Morris, Edward BurneāJones and Dante Gabriel Rossetti among many.
Join us and discover the arts and crafts in this picturesque part of England.
